Bourbon Review · Weller
W.L. Weller Full Proof
Wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon · 114 Proof

The Story
Full Proof sits between the Antique 107 and the Single Barrel — more proof than the 107, and a lot of people who've had the whole lineup call it the sweet spot. It's newer than the other Wellers, and the extra strength brings out the wheat character without making it a chore to drink. If you want the full Weller experience in one bottle, this is probably it.
Nose, Palate & Finish
Nose
Bigger and bolder than the rest of the lineup — caramel, oak, vanilla, some dried fruit, all turned up by the proof. Smells like it means business.
Palate
Full-bodied, rich, satisfying. Brown sugar, butterscotch, dried fruit, oak — all there, all working together. The higher proof gives it real weight without turning harsh. Every sip feels like it's worth the price.
Finish
Long, warm, sweet. The heat fades slowly into a dry oak finish that keeps things interesting all the way through.
